Today the Family Solutions Group UK, launched their #ChildsRightToMatter report. There is so much in this insightful document from children about what works for them. NACCC have played a role in contributing to this and today OnlyMums & Dads are sponsoring its launch.
NACCC is proud to be a member of the Family Solutions Group which has produced a report named A Child’s Right to Matter. In this report, we explored with young people, 112 in total from the UK Youth Parliament to whom we are extremely grateful, whether they were aware of their rights under the UNCRC, and whether they knew where they would get support when their parents separate. This report has now been launched (on Monday the 13th of November).
Speakers at the launch event earlier this week included our host, Edward Timpson CBE KC MP, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice Lord Bellamy KC, and members of the UK Youth Parliament. The Youth Parliament are traveling up from Plymouth to take part.
