NACCC 1991-2021: 30 years keeping children in touch with parents following separation

A Nottingham magistrate, Mary Lower MBE, founded the first child contact centre for private law in 1985. She went on to form the National Association in 1991, continuing her involvement as President until she sadly passed away in 2017. Sir James Munby is now NACCC’s President supported by two Vice Presidents and Patron Sir Andrew McFarlane (President of the Family Division and Head of Family Justice). In 2021 NACCC achieved 30 years as a voluntary sector organisation, campaigning to keep children in touch with parents following separation.

Please find out more about our 30th birthday celebrations and the 25th anniversary issue of our magazine Contact Matters.

Now an established charity and company limited by guarantee, NACCC has a board of trustees chaired by Lesley Jenkinson. The team of staff are led by the Chief Executive, Elizabeth Coe.
