Summary:

Ymestyn is a brand-new contact service, which will be offering community sessions for families, in a range of venues and settings across Torfaen and Cardiff.

This service will be community based with a comprehensive risk assessment plan to ensure that all buildings used are safe and appropriate.

The service has a detailed, bright, and inviting website, leaflets, and social media with a range of information included on these for the children and families who may use the service. This information helps them to anticipate everything from making a referral to the appropriate steps to take if they are unhappy or feel unsafe.

The social workers managing the service are knowledgeable and friendly and will be available throughout the week to assist with any enquiries.

The managers are extremely committed to providing a flexible, family-focused service in their area, and fully understand and recognise the importance of this work.
