Staff and volunteers at Chances Gives Choices have been welcoming a series of local leaders to highlight the crucial support they provide to families in the local community.
Established in 2014, Chances Gives Choices is a well-established child contact service operating across Wiltshire, Dorset, Basingstoke, Winchester, and Hampshire. The organisation offers a range of services designed to help children and young people reconnect with non-resident parents and family members following a family breakdown.
For many families experiencing separation, child contact centres may be the only means of maintaining relationships. Without these services, children can go months without seeing non-resident family members.
With its head office in Romsey, Hampshire, Chances Gives Choices has expanded significantly over the years to meet the growing demands for its services. The organisation provides NACCC enhanced accredited services, including supervised and supported contact sessions, home visits, handovers (both direct and indirect), and transportation for children and adults. Additional offerings include remote contact, community contact sessions, and an indirect letterbox contact service.
To showcase the impact of their work, Chances Gives Choices recently invited a number of MPs and local councillors to visit their centres and witness first-hand the difference their service makes.

Cllr Russell Gordon-Smith, Mayor of Winchester – visited the Chances Gives Choices centre and Head Office in Romsey
Cllr Paul Gray, Cabinet Lead for Commercial – visited the Havant centre
Cllr Arun Mummalaneni and Cllr Jacky Tustain – visited the Basingstoke centre
MP for Chichester, Jess Brown-Fuller – visited the new Outreach centre in Chichester.
