The team at NACCC would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in this year’s charity football match organised by Dads Reunited.

The event, which took place on Sunday 18th August at Stratford Town Football Club’s Arden Garages Stadium, proved to be a huge success and a fabulous time was had by all.
Ahead of the charity match, there was a women’s football game followed by a children’s match, along with bouncy castles and children’s face painting for the families to enjoy.
This year’s charity football match saw Dads Reunited football team, a team of ex professional football players, take on Stratford Town Football Club VETS. The game saw some fantastic performances and great goals scored; with the final score being an impressive 10-0 win to Dads Reunited.

So far, the event has raised an incredible £2,210 with all proceeds raised being donated to NACCC and Families Include Fathers, helping to support parents fund the costs of contact services.
Established in 2020, Dads Reunited is made up of a small group of parents who are dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support non-resident parents, helping them to afford the costs of child contact services.
We are delighted that Dads Reunited chose to partner with NACCC again this year and we will ensure that all funds received go directly to families struggling to meet child contact centre costs.
With around 300 NACCC accredited child contact centres across the UK and in the region of 3,000 volunteers working to support the centres, NACCC accredited contact centres provide a safe, supportive and welcoming space which enables children to spend family time with parents they no longer live with.
During family separation/divorce child contact centres may be the only method of contact available for some families. Without them, children can go many months without seeing a non-resident parent whilst official and lengthy court proceedings are determined.
If you would like to donate and help Dads Reunite reach their target goal of £3,000, visit the Dads Reunited JustGiving page which remains live until the end of August.
We would like to thank Dads Reunited for their continued support, with special thanks to Stratford Town FC Manager, and NACCC supporter, Gavin Hurren. We would also like to thank Stratford Town FC for hosting and supporting the work we do. We enjoyed a fantastic fun-filled day and we hope to see you all again next year!
