The National Association of Child Contact Centres is a charitable non-profit making organisation whose objective is to support children to keep in touch with their parents and other family members following separation or divorce. The Child Contact Centre Standards Panel is an independent panel set up by the National Association of Child Contact Centres. One of the key roles of NACCC is the accreditation and re-accreditation of both Supported and Supervised Child Contact Centres against sets of nationally agreed standards. NACCC believes that its work in this area would benefit from the scrutiny of an Independent Panel which looks at both the standards and NACCC’s implementation of those standards in the accreditation and reaccreditation process. We are now looking to recruit a further 2 members to complement our existing panel.
One member should be directly involved in the operation of a Supervised Child Contact Centre. The second member should not be directly involved in the running of Child Contact Centre but have experience or knowledge that is relevant to the work of the Independent Standards Panel.
In order for us to achieve our broad geographical base and to reflect the diversity of the work and communities of Child Contact Centres across England, Northern Ireland, Wales and the Channel Islands, we will give priority to applications from the South West, Central or the North East regions.
