Volunteers and staff at NACCC accredited Kings Lynn Child Contact Centre were delighted to welcome two special visitors recently: local Member of Parliament for North West Norfolk, James Wild, alongside British Politician and Member of the House of Lords – The Rt Hon. Baroness Evans of Bowes Park, Natalie Evans.
The visit, greatly enjoyed by all, was a fantastic opportunity for the Kings Lynn team to showcase the incredible work they are doing to support local families.

Kings Lynn Child Contact Centre provides a vital service to help reconnect parents and children in our local community. Having spent time there, I can see the positive impact the centre has on the wellbeing of children and helping to rebuild those important family relationships.
Established in 2010, Kings Lynn Child Contact Centre provides NACCC accredited supported contact sessions, where children can enjoy spending family time with parents/family members they no longer live with following divorce or separation.
During family separation/divorce, child contact centres may be the only method of contact available for some families. Without them children can go many months without seeing a non-resident parent.

It was a pleasure to speak with James and Natalie about the work we do at the centre. Being able to highlight the great work that contact centres do across the UK is a privilege. I enjoyed the conversations we had and came away with plenty of ideas to take the centre forward.
Kings Lynn Child Contact Centre opened in 2010. Having moved premises in 2020, the centre now operates in a large Methodist Church Hall, based on County Court Road, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, providing supported contact visits for families in the local community.
The centre opens on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9.30am – 12.30pm; offering a spacious child-friendly space where children can enjoy spending family time with family members they no longer live with.
The centre has a range of toys and activities for the children to enjoy, including books, games and an arts and craft table.
The centre accepts self-referrals, alongside referrals from Cafcass, the mediation service, children’s services, solicitors or the court.
