We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Phil our new Service Development Manager at NACCC who will be based at our office in Nottingham working full time. Phil has dedicated his career to children and families, particularly those that are most vulnerable. He is a passionate and motivated social worker with experience in various management and support roles in children’s homes, children’s nurseries, residential parenting assessment and local authority social work.

Phil has been working in the child contact arena since 2005 and worked with NACCC in 2014 delivering the Moving On programme. He has had the opportunity to visit many contact centres through his recent work as an accreditation assessor which has given him an understanding of the workings of contact centres operating in the voluntary, private and statutory sectors. Phil’s experiences in working with contact centres (and supporting the children who access these) have been a catalyst for a real passion in supporting children to have the loving and safe relationship that they deserve with both of their parents. It is this passion and experience of social work and management that has bought him to the Service Development Manager role at NACCC. This role will enable him to continue to influence practice and support children’s contact services in offering the highest possible standards for children and their families. He is as excited as we are about the opportunities that lie ahead.
