Children at Saint Benedict’s School voted for Derby CCC as their charity to raise funds for this year – various events including this Microbike race raised £550. Many children already knew about the work of the centre and had come up with the idea themselves to choose the charity. Co-ordinator Amanda Page visited the school to talk about the centre. One teacher said
“Thanks for organising this. I think the whole House were caught up on the stories.. very moving .. £550 presented.”
