We were delighted to welcome the Standards Panel to NACCC’s head office in Nottingham recently.
As a registered charity and umbrella organisation, NACCC oversees approximately 300 child contact centres across the UK, providing ongoing support, training and guidance to our members. Through a rigorous accreditation process, we set and uphold stringent standards to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the families who rely on our centres.
The independent Standards Panel convenes bi-annually with NACCC CEO Elizabeth Coe and Service Development Manager Phil Coleman. Together, they review NACCC’s national standards to ensure our accreditation process continues to reflect the highest levels of quality and integrity.
The Standards panel is chaired by Sir Mark Hedley, a retired British judge. He practised as a barrister for many years in Liverpool before becoming a full-time circuit judge in 1992. In 2002, Sir Mark was appointed a High Court judge, receiving the customary knighthood, and was assigned to the Family Division. Sir Mark became a Vice President of NACCC in 2001.
We are grateful for the panel’s dedication to maintaining the exceptional standards that underpin NACCC’s work supporting families across the UK.
