Parents are already going through a difficult time and may not even know what a contact centre is. I find that the more information that can be provided prior to attending a centre is invaluable. By giving them an insight and as much information around what a contact centre is, what it looks like and what can be expected can alleviate so many questions, worries, concerns, and stress. This video was created as part of a pack to be sent to families prior to even stepping through the door and to help with starting those conversations with children.
Vine Child Contact Centre is part of the Vine Charity which exists to serve the people of Leeds and the surrounding area. They are based at Headingley Methodist Church in Leeds and have been providing contact services for about 10 years, open alternate Saturdays mornings.
