A new domestic abuse offence for “coercive and controlling behaviour” within relationships was announced by the home secretary in December 2014 and given Royal Assent in March this year.
In response, NACCC’s conference this year will focus on how the more subtle forms of domestic abuse can affect parents using child contact centres.
